The (6″ x 10″) crusher is performing very well for us. It is well on its way to completing its fourth year of service. For the hard and abrasive ceramic porcelain insulators we run through the crusher it takes about 250,000 lbs to wear the bottom half of both plates down to a point it’s not efficient for us to operate and we have to flip the plates.
